Bob Evans recently helped me with a job of SIPS roof panels, here in Cashiers, North Carolina. I must admit that I was nervous about getting involved in a system that I have had very little experience with, but after my first meeting with Bob, my mind was at ease. His experience spoke out and I quickly realized that I had nothing to worry about. Everything went along just as I was told it would. Bob was kind enough to meet with my customer to explain the logistics to him, which helped tremendously, since my customer had very limited experience with SIPS as well. We were provided with detailed engineered drawings to review before the order was placed and to aid in installation. The panels arrived on time and in good condition, with everything included to do the job. Bob visited the job site and provided some hands on instruction to my customer after the delivery was made and even let us borrow some of his lift plates to aid in setting the panels.
The job went well and we are very pleased. I’m actually looking forward to the next SIPS project that comes my way.
